| Prepare a learning contract in consultation with your site supervisor which must include: - Information about the site, supervisor and yourself.
- Detailed learning objectives.
- Detailed strategies and resources to achieve objectives.

| Register for the Internship course, LIS 4940: - Get the Internship Coordinator's signature on an individualized course approval form, before you register.
- Handle registration paperwork through the Student Services Office (Scott Thorp, Undergraduate Advisor).
- Registration deadline for the semester is established by the Registrar's Office http://registrar.fsu.edu/.
- Students will not be registered for an internship during Add/Drop. The internship process should not start during that time. Please review the academic calendar for Add/Drop dates.

| Participate in internship seminars either in classes held on campus or through the BlackBoard chat interface. |

| Submit a monthly journal describing your activities, along with some analysis, to the Internship Coordinator. |

| Remind site supervisor to submit an end of term evaluation of your internship experience. This is due the last week of classes. |
